Christmas Plants

For many people, Christmas is a time for decorating trees, hanging up wreaths and kissing under the mistletoe. Plants are everywhere at Christmas. But have you ever wondered where these botanical traditions come from, why certain plants are associated with the festive season and do these plants have anything else to offer us? This talk will take a look at the traditions, origins and symbolism of those plants, but also some of their other uses and properties.
