Green Corridors
As one of Britain’s biggest landowners, the railway is responsible for plants and biodiversity. Britain’s railway provides a habitat to many rare species: often referred to as the green corridor and covering in total an area nearly twice the size of the Isle of Wight, the railway connects fragmented habitats across our countryside. It has 6 million trees!
Clive takes you on an illustrated journey, seeking out the diversity of flora, rare species and natural beauty.
